Keya Seth Umbrella Sunscreen Powder SPF-25 UVB PA+++UVA - ( DF-2073 )

Here’s what I found about Keya Seth Umbrella Sunscreen Powder SPF 25 PA+++UVA:Made in India Product Overview According to the brand, this is a loose powder sunscreen offering SPF 25 with PA+++, delivering broad-spectrum UVA + UVB protection. It's infused with micronized zinc oxide, Tinosorb M (a photostable UV filter), and sandalwood essential oil for soothing and oil-control benefits . Designed as a non-comedogenic, sweat-resistant formula, it aims to mattify oily skin and give a finishing glow or makeup-like look without stickiness. Key Features SPF 25 + PA+++ protection (≈ 96% UVB blockage, broad-spectrum UVA shielding via PA+++ rating) Contains micronized zinc oxide and Tinosorb M filters for photostability and oil-friendly protection Matte finish and oil-absorbing—good for oily or combination skin due to zinc oxide and kaolin clay properties Sweat‑resistant to maintain protection in humid or active conditions Light sandalwood fragrance, which can be strong or short‑lived depending on skin type Generally considered translucent light‑brown, works for many Indian skin tones but may leave a slight yellowish tint depending on amount applied User Feedback (Online Reviews) Positive Mentions:Many users, especially with oily skin, appreciate the matte effect and easy reapplication over sunscreen without greasiness. Users on Nykaa rated it about 4.4/5, often citing longevity, oil control, smooth finish, and fragrance tolerability. Criticisms & Considerations:A few reviewers mention it's not very finely milled, which can feel cakey or gritty; packaging (loose jar) is considered messy and prone to spills. Some debate that powder sunscreens aren’t as reliable as creams, especially since proper SPF protection requires a substantial amount of powder—most users apply it as a setting layer over traditional sunscreen, not as sole protection. Concerns are raised about lung inhalation risk if inhaled during application (common with loose powder formulas) Usage Tips Apply regular sunscreen (lotion or chemical/physical) as your primary protection. Wait ~10–15 minutes for it to settle. Dust on the SPF 25 powder, blending lightly using a brush or puff. Best used for reapplication during the day or to mattify skin on top of lotion sunscreen. Reapply if sweating heavily or after wiping your face. Final Thoughts Keya Seth Umbrella Sunscreen Powder SPF 25 PA+++ is a convenient top-up powder sunscreen especially useful for oily or combination skin. It smooths shine, refreshes SPF on top of sunscreen lotion, and works as a lightweight finishing powder. However, it's not suitable as primary sun protection due to powder application limitations. Also, some may find the fragrance strong or packaging inconvenient. Always use it in combination with a regular sunscreen for adequate UV coverage.
